Hello, I’m Mike Pasenow, and I certainly hope that you are having your greatest day. I am an avid animal lover, having owned everything from turtles to horses and literally everything in between. I’m the outspoken, now information-providing blogger with a unique insight into the animal health world from an insider’s point of view. I’ve spent 30 years of my life selling and representing medical device companies in both “human” medicine and in animal health. Over the past ten years I’ve been focused on animal health, witnessing all the changes that are occurring in that space. The information that you will find in my blog is meant to inform, educate, and give you more of a voice in caring for your pet(s). I am very concerned about the direction and, quite frankly, the information or lack thereof that is provided to you, the pet-loving fur baby pet parents. There is great change occurring in what some call “Vet Med”, from the corporate takeover of clinics to new philosophical clinic business models, and increasingly more expensive technology. All of these factors have a tremendous impact on the industry and the care of your pet.
The Goal
My aim here is be become more of a pet owner/pet parent advocate, providing you with the tools and information in order for you to make better decisions with regard to your pets care. Some of this information may cause concern, some may surprise you, and hopefully some information will inspire you to take a closer look for yourself.
